Burleigh Heads Beach

On Saturday my roommate and I decided to take a day trip to Burleigh Heads before classes started. Burleigh Heads isn't too far from where we're staying. I took about forty minutes taking the tram and bus there. Burleigh Heads is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. The water is so clear you can see down to the bottom and you can see the skyline of Surfers Paradise from the main beach. Once we were there we went to the beach, and took the hiking path to Cock Rock. While walking on the path we came across a really clear lagoon you could see the fishes swimming. When we got to the top the view was amazing. When we got down we went into town to get food. I went to kiss the berry and got an açaí bowl there and it was really good. After lunch we went down to the beach and climbed on the rocks in the cove. After walking for a little you will stumble upon a rock that says, "stand here & think of someone you love." After being able to take pictures with the social media famous rock I spent some time in the pools of water and collected some seashells. Burleigh Heads was a successful trip and I will definitely be returning!
