O-Week!
So, today Griffith University Orientation officially started and there's only one week until classes start for the first trimester. Being at a college orientation felt weird as a second semester junior because it's mostly all freshmen and there are just so many people you don't know, which can make you flustered at times. Having to start all over at a new school can definitely make you miss your own college and friends back home. One big difference I noticed when I went to orientation was that there weren't many clubs you could choose from to join and you have to pay a membership fee to be in them. While touring Griffith with the orientation leaders and seeing people on campus really had a different feel to it compared to having a brief tour with no students on campus. Going to campus today definitely made me excited to start going to Griffith University because it will give me a different outlook on college in a foreign country, learn to be more self sufficient, and go out of my comfort zone and meet new people. After Uni orientation I went to the beach, again! Then some of my friends and I finished the night with Max Brenner's Chocolate Bar!
